Welcome to the home of Lassington Oak Morris Men – where tradition meets energy, and every step tells a story.
Based in the heart of Highnam, Gloucestershire, we’ve been bringing the vibrant spirit of Cotswold Morris dancing to life since we formed in 1976.
But we’re more than just a dance side. We’re known for our lively performances, our legendary “calves of steel,” and a passion that keeps audiences coming back for more.

When the dancing stops, that’s when the music and singing begin. From rousing folk tunes to hearty songs, we take the music long into the evening.
Whether you’ve seen us at a festival, an event, or at your local pub, Lassington Oak Morris Men are proud to keep this timeless English tradition alive – with energy, camaraderie, and a good dose of fun.
Come for the dancing. Stay for the music. Join the tradition!
We welcome all new members to come and join us for practice on Wednesday nights, 8–10pm, throughout the autumn and winter at Highnam Community Centre.
